How Much Does a Toastmaster Cost?
Explaining my Fee
My fees are typical for a professionally trained toastmaster. I only add travelling expenses if the venue is over 100 miles (200 mile round trip) and then it's only the actual cost of the fuel used.
Within reason, I will travel anywhere for the client, providing they accapt my terms and conditions. On certain occasions (eg Scotland) an overnight stay may be required; the cost will be agreed before the booking is made.
My work takes me all over the country. I have officiated at lots of weddings in the South, South East and SouthWest, eg Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Gloucester, Worcestershire, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, as well as Wonderful Wiltshire.
I am not VAT registered and therefore my fee may be lower than other toastmasters.
Likewise, I am open to negotiation for regular bookings.

This fee is for duties, up to and including, ceremoniously escorting the Bride and Bridegroom out of the banqueting room after the wedding Breakfast
If you require me to stay later and announce the first dance, I may add a further £25.00 to the fee?

Terms & Conditions
- Bookings are accepted in good faith, based on the information provided by the client, and are deemed to be accepted only when the booking form has been received, the deposit/ booking fee paid and acknowledged in writing, including by email.
- The deposit booking fee is deducted from the final account. In the event of cancellation it may be non-returnable, see Cancellation Charges below.
- The balance of the account is payable 14 days prior to the event, unless otherwise agreed.
- The fee quoted is inclusive and is guaranteed for 30 days from the date of the written confirmation.
- The right is reserved to increase the fee payable due to altered instructions of engagement, e.g. added time at event extended or the venue changed.
- Every effort is made in good faith to fulfill the engagement, but responsibility cannot be accepted for non-arrival due to circumstances beyond control, e.g., to include such events extreme weather conditions, industrial action, failure of public services etc.
- In the event of non-arrival, a refund will be made to the client, according to the circumstances prevailing.
- In the event of illness, every effort will be made to provide a substitute Professional Toastmaster, and to pass on full details of the booking and planning documentation for the event. No additional fee will be charged.
Cancellation Charges
In the event of cancellation by the client for any reason, the following charges will apply from acceptance of a booking
Please Note; that in the event of a cancellation, the following will apply:
6 months or more prior to the event = Forfeit of deposit
3 - 6 months prior to the event = 50% of fee
1 - 2 months prior to the event = 75% of fee
Within 1 month prior to the event = Full fee payable
Cancellations only accepted in writing. Regrettably, telephone, fax or emails cannot be accepted.
