The Toastmaster causes a traffic jam at Ye Old Bell at Hurley!
Blushing Bride has stopped the traffic
LOLLIPOP MAN stepped in to bring cars and caravans to a halt when a bride and groom crossed the road to join guests at their wedding reception.
Childhood sweethearts Samantha Nixon and Paul Hollinshead, who met when they were pupils at Furze Platt Comprehensive School in Maidenhead, were married in 'The Malt House at Ye Olde Bell' in Hurley.
The Wedding Breakfast was laid on in the Tithe Barn on the far side of Hurley's ancient High Street. So, Eric Gill, Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies made a special pole and sign for the occasion to make sure the Bridal Pair got accross the road with dignity It said. Stop Bride Crossing

Two Wedding Day Readings
The first is from a Native American Wedding Ceremony.
May the sun bring you new strength by day: and the moon softly restore you by night.
May the rain wash away your fears and the breeze invigorate your being
May you, all the days of your life, walk gently through the world and know its beauty
Now you will feel no rain, for each will shelter the other
Now you will feel no cold, for each will warm each other
Now you will feel no solitude, for each will company the other
Now you are two persons, but both will lead one life
Go now, to your dwelling, to begin the days of your life together

So live happy forever as lovers and friends, it's the dawn of a new life for you,
As you stand there together with love in your eyes, from the moment you whisper 'I do'
And with luck, all your hopes, and your dreams can be real
